I went to Walgreens on Tuesday, March 17th to get Allegra D for my allergies. The pharmacist treated me like I was stupid. She didn't let me finish telling her my symptoms or what I took that day. She dismissed me like I don't have a history of having severe allergies, like I haven't been allergy tested, like I don't have asthma, and like I don't have an expired prescription for Claritin D in my medicine cabinet. She even went as far as to tell me why Walgreens pays her. She's not my doctor. She didn't know anything about me. I took regular Allegra the day before. I also took a Tylenol Sinus pill to help me with the sinus pressure and congestion. This she didn't know because when I go to tell her she talks over me and tells me to go buy regular Allegra. She also tells me how the coupon was only for regular Allegra. I can tell that not only did not listen to me, she didn't read the coupon. The picture was of Allegra; Allegra D was the third item listed before the fine print. I had to ask for my ID and coupon back from her.I don't argue with rude people. I told her that I would go to Target and get it from them. Which I did and I had no problems. The pharmacist there advised not to take it the same day because of what I took. My plans were to take it on Wednesday after 7 pm and I had been running. I'm not stupid. I've had allergies and asthma all of life. Just because a person is a pharmacist does not mean they know my medical history.

This is not the first time that I've had a bad experience at this pharmacy. I took my sons there to get their flu shots. The cashier enters the wrong last name for my youngest son. I've always had his prescriptions filled at Walgreens. We've even used Walgreens Take Care Clinic. I see the error on the paperwork. I correct it and tell her. She goes on and on about my son not being in the system. How can that be? Unless she's disregarding what I told her. After their shots, I get the papers and receipt and my youngest son's last name is still wrong. What's wrong with these people?

No one should go in for a service and be treated like this. We are your customers. If we don't use your services, how do your employees get paid? I don't think the people in that pharmacy department get that it's a mutual need. I work every day just like they do. I have two degrees. I pay taxes. I consider myself to be a productive member of society, and I would appreciate being treated as such.
