Prescription filled wrong

I had a refill for a medication, giving me 3 month's supply...90 capsules. I had the receipt for it on my email inbox. The bottle had only 30 in it, with 2 refills. I have always had my prescriptions for 3 months at a time, as getting refills from my pharmacy takes days, when it should take only one. I took my receipt from the bottle along with the "instructions" that came with the med. back to Walgreens . The "tech" behind the counter said, first, it was written that way. Then, when I showed him my emailed receipt from Walgreen's , he said the insurance company would not allow it for 90 days. I said I had never been notified by anyone that the amount had been changed. I asked if I could get the remaining 60 capsules. He said I couldn't, and could get the 90 on the next refill, and to just refill it 30 at a time. Now, I am getting mad. Finally, another tech (or the pharmacist) came over and asked what was wrong. I went through the whole story, again. What we concluded was that whoever filled the prescription, from Walgreens, failed to read the order, and put the wrong number of caps in the bottle. I asked if I could get the rest of the 60, now. She said, "just wait right here", and she completed the order.
While standing and waiting for my presctiption, I saw the same first "tech" talking to a lady in back of me. I heard her say she had either eaten something or taken one of her pills and now her lips were burning and swollen (!). This "tech" guy said she needed to get some lip balm "with cortisone" in it.

I picked up my prescription and walked down an aisle to leave. In the next aisle over, I heard the the lady talking to this guy, apparently looking for cortisone lip balm. I did not hear all the conversation, but I did hear her say the word, "peanuts", and she did not want anything with peanuts or peanut oil in it!!! My assumption was she was having an allergic reaction to peanuts, to something she ate.

I am a nurse, and know full well this guy was FAR off base. She should have been told to go to her doctor or emergency room. But, as this Walgreen's employee is supposed to know SOMETHING, and being paid for it, I was not going to interfere. I thought about going back to the pharmacist, but decided against it, as it was not my job to do what he was doing, and was wrong...for the second time in the last half hour!
