Poor Customer Service-Store #6881

I went to the pharmacy department to get Allegra D on Tuesday,March 17th. I pass the cashier my ID and my coupon. She passes it over to the pharmacist and tells me that I have to answer some questions from the pharmacists. I step out of line to talk to the pharmacists. This young lady was the rudest pharmacists that I've ever had the pleasure to speak to. She didn't let me finish telling her my symptoms. She insisted that I just go buy the regular Allegra. I tell her that I bought the regular Allegra, but what I needed was Allegra D. Before I can tell her my history and why I use Allegra D, she tells me that I need to just use that and that the coupon was only for regular Allegra. She tells me that's why Walgreens pays her like I asked what her job duties were. At this point I can tell that just like she didn't listen to me, she didn't read the coupon. The picture was of Allegra but in the list of products was Allegra D. I have a history of having severe allergies. Around 11 am, I took a sinus pill to help with the sinus pressure. I went to the store after 4 pm. I had no intentions of taking the medicine that day but on Wednesday March 18th after my run. I also have an expired Claritan D prescription. I didn't want to go to the doctor's office when I could just go to the store and get what I needed. I also know that when I don't use the correct medication I end up having to have breathing treatments. I only wanted to avoid this. I ended up going to Target and not getting a hassle.

But the manager at this location needs to talk to the employees in the pharmacy. This was not my first time being talked over and not listened to. When I took my sons to get their flu shots, the cashier enters the wrong last name for my youngest son. It was just wrong. I cross it out and take the paperwork back to her with his correct last name. She blows me off and tells me that he's not in their system. My youngest son also suffers from severe allergies. He's 15. I've been going to Walgreens to fill his prescriptions for all of his life. She was using the wrong last name. I tell her again. Once again, she disregards me and starts talking to someone behind her. When I pay for the services, his name was wrong. What's the point of having people handle your customers when they have no customer service abilities?

I will not use Walgreens services again. I get better service from Target.
